Frequently Asked Questions

My average fee is $195 for a fifty-minute session. If someone is seeing me several times a week for psychoanalysis, I am willing to adjust the fee accordingly. I do have several reduced fee time slots based on financial need and availability.

No, I am not affiliated with insurance companies or panels. However, you can see me as an ‘Out-of-Network’ Provider. That means that you pay for your sessions as you go. At the end of the month, I will give you a statement to provide to your insurance company for reimbursement.

My philosophy is that each person owns the hour that s/he meets with me. If a client misses a session, I will try to reschedule it during the same week. If that is not possible, s/he is responsible to pay for that hour.

If it is a public holiday or I am not in the office on a particular day, there is no charge, meaning no one is fiscally responsible when I am on vacation, at conferences etc.

Appointments are arranged by schedule only. There is no open-door policy for drop-ins. If there is an emergency, please try to contact me by telephone or go to the nearest emergency room.
